the long count calendar
is not a measure of when.
It is a measure of why.
The seasons within it
are not terrestrial in nature.
They are celestial
and are - therefore - cycles
in the spirit.
It is not meant to measure
a spread of time.
it is meant to measure
a completeness of remembrance.
Therefore,
it doesn't answer us when.
It asks us why.
