Preserve us all in Thy Peace

O LORD God,
help us with our present work of peace.

Guide us through as You always have
and see us through this difficult time.

Look with mercy upon our present distress,
O LORD and one Sovereign of all human nations,
make Thy Countenance shine upon our Country,
let Thy Light dispel the enveloping darkness...

Counsel those who are in doubt.
Comfort those who are in sorrow.
Carry the needy forth from troubles.

Be our refuge and our strength!

Manifest to this one, faithful Republic
in particular to our responsible leadership,
Thy will of justice and good for all our peoples.

Preserve our common hopes as a human people.
Preserve our dream of a better Philippines.
Preserve us all in Thy Peace.

Amen.

Salutation #71

Again the LORD's messenger called to Abraham from heaven and said:

"I swear by myself, declares the LORD, that because you acted as you did in not withholding from me your beloved son,

I will bless you abundantly and make your descendants as countless as the stars of the sky and the sands of the seashore;

your descendants shall take possession of the gates of their enemies, and in your descendants all the nations of the earth shall find blessing - all this because you obeyed my command."

- Genesis 22: 15-18

(An Abrahamic Prayer)

LORD God,
We humbly implore Thee:

help all Thy Muslims,
help all Thy Jews,
help all Thy Christians,
help us in all Thy nations, dear God -
help us to find each other in the dark.

Incline each our hearts
unto Thee, O LORD,
our one True Light.
Refresh our spirits!

May we be as a people
after Thy own Heart, O LORD,
all Thy numberless stars,
guided by the light of Thy Peace
and blessed by Thy will of good
for all Mankind.

Forsake us not, O LORD,
lest we perish in the darkness.

Fulfill in us that promise
Thou swore to our Father Abraham,
that promise Thou hast made of old,
O LORD, that Thou shalt lead us ever onward,
that Thou shalt guide us
toward the building of a better world
for all Thy nations.

By the light of Thy own faithfulness,
O LORD, bind us together
in the unity of Thy own Truth.

Establish Thy Holy Presence in our hearts
as a revelation upon the nations,
that Thou art God, O LORD,
He Who is, the LORD!
And let this be as the dawning
of Thy glory upon the earth.

AMEN.
---<--@

Therefore,
may our understanding of Peace
- be blessed with abundance -
by the one LORD of our nation
and of all nations - the God of Peace.

May our will be directed by God
to the truth that we are one nation,
- brothers and sisters -
in the singular labor of peace
and peace which brings
true prosperity, happiness,
and the realization of our nationhood.

May our common salutation of Peace
be a reflection of the fullness of this knowledge
in our heart of hearts - that -
as children of the Promise,
we are all born to that one promise of old
that God made to our Father Abraham
that we shall be a blessing to our nations.

Let us be as a light unto each other,
ever as the numberless stars - that -
in the darkness of these times,
shines steadfastly the way forward
into a new age for our one Filipino nation
and for our one family of nations
- a new age of Peace.

Salaam. Shalom. Peace.

Under our one Republic sky,
my brothers and sisters of the Promise,
we are but one House - one lineage of victory -
for this House doth serve the LORD,
O my nation - forever!

Prayer to God as First Defender of the Republic

Look upon us this moment,
O LORD, God above all things,
and abide with us now
in our necessary struggle
as First Defender of this Republic
to obtain for our people
the remembrance of Thy peace
and the blessings of Thy freedom.

Bless our one Filipino nation,
O LORD and Giver of all good things,
each and every Filipino heart,
that yet believes with conviction
in this endeavor of Country
that we may by our own willingness
be transformed by Thy abundant mercy.

Tarry with us in the darkness
O LORD and Sovereign of all nations
help us, teach us, bless us
that we may prosper in Thy sight
and in Thy grace and in Thy counsels
remain secure in Thy commandments
walking upright in Thy ways
that we may become the light
that You want this nation
and every nation to be
upon this, our midnight world,
so much in need of Thy presence
like the daybreak twilight is
so much in need of Thee.

For us, Christians, we must add:

This we humbly implore
in the Name of Jesus Christ,
our most loving Lord and Savior,

AMEN.
---<--@

For all the rest:

This we humbly implore,
O LORD and one common Creator
of all things, seen and unseen,

AMEN.

Crystal Blue Sphere

I SAW IN A VISION,
a crystal blue sphere,
shining with a multitude of living lights.

The vision came to me quite abruptly
while I was awake in the day,
riding a jeep home from work.

The vision stayed for a time before me as I wondered.
I wondered at how wondrous and beautiful beyond imagination it was
that I thought I was seeing through the eyes of angels.

Then a darkness came over the vision
and it seemed to me for an instant that it was no longer there.

- selah -

But it was, O my nation,
before me was a world so overrun by sin and war
that it was no longer distinct from the nothingness of the void -
an unknown earth bereft of light,
forsook by heaven,
and forgot by God.

A Prayer for Peace

LORD God,

we adore Thee
and we bless Thee!

O most beneficent LORD

and one God of all creation,
rekindle in the hearts of Thy nations
the desire for meaningful peace.

Come, O LORD,
abide with needful Mankind
be again the God of our families and of our lands
reclaim Thy right as our one Sovereign
that loving hearts and willing hands
may learn the ways of Thy grace
and thy faithful bring down from heaven
the blessings of Thy most precious Peace.

Forsake us not, dear LORD
but with Thy holy angels lead us
away from the darkness of our times
and into the Light of Thy Countenance
that all the peoples of needful Mankind
may come to a holy remembrance of Thee
and that we may as one firmament shine
ever like the numberless stars
that you promised of old
to our holy Patriarch Abraham.

AMEN.

The one Code

REMAIN TRUE -
to our peerless LORD
to the one God
of our Father Abraham,
the one common Creator
of all common creation,
seen and unseen.

To your own sacred remembrances
and the memory of your peace
with God and with each other.

To the overcoming of your War
and the advent of your hope
at the dawn of our new dreaming
as nations together.

To thy own universe within
and to the riches therewith
those treasures that
neither thief nor tyrant
can deprive.

To thy own calling
to serve in the way
of virtue and of peace
and to thy own ascent
upon the one mountain path
whereupon all good things
find their meaning and merit
in the prayer of the heart.

To thy own labors
upon this necessary life
and to the hardships also
that this inhabited earth brings -
May you be satisfied
knowing in your heart
what you truly strive for.

To thy own endeavor of Country
and to the trust of thy own nation
may you embrace with your embracing
these wholes upon wholes
as far and as wide as you could
and with courage
and steadfast persistence
bring all your love
as near as it takes you
to the one Love
that unifies us all
with the one LORD of All.

To our Lord's poor
and to each other
as keeper and as friend -
May we all remain faithful
from always to always
until the final gathering
at the end of days
and the beginning
of all things new.

Salutation #28

(Ode to our Father Abraham)

Wheeling as the numberless stars
across the midnight emptiness
of this season of the sky
toward the eastern advent breaking
of the new millennial age
and the dawning
of a better, kinder world
for all men, women and children
of every nation
of the one covenant family
of the nations of needful Mankind -
the great galaxy of our Father Abraham,
the fulfillment of a promise of old.

Full Spectrum Vision

What is the color of Light, all ye living lights?

It is the color of All the colors of Light!

Verily, I say to you - there are colors in Eternity that are not even present here in our visible human reality.

These are the colors to which prayer alone gives us witness, like promises waiting in the wings of our hoping and our bearing together in the Night; the unseen reality of a myriad other beautiful relationships yet unknown to us on this exiled earth - caught adrift betwixt these tides of darkness and light...

We are the full spectrum vision of living life!

Liberate yourselves from the thinking that human life is all about rigid colors - in the LORD, thy God, darling starshine, each of us becomes part of something more than we can possibly imagine...

Think about it: The visible spectrum of light is only a small portion of the full spectrum of Light.

Salutation #29

(Arcs in the Sky)

Starshine,
the heavens above thee
seemingly unconscious to thy self
is never without its seeing
nor the unseen realms
that embrace and penetrate thee
amidst this unfeeling earth
without its desire for each thy precious company,
this evil is only allowed to tarry for a time,
for We are nearer to each of thee,
our beloved Starshine,
than you can ever imagine.

Keep thee a record,
an account of each thy own heart,
most especially those of thee
who are in the midst of conflicts,
those of thee who are
no less loved than the rest of us
sorely afflicted by the scrouge of War.

For the heavens reign true
to the remembrance of thy longings
and so it is for the needful earth
that you shall begin to write,
O precious Starshine,
and upon this forgetful night
let thy starlight be shed
to trace upon the darkness
thy arcs in the sky.

A Word of Caution -

The spirit of War being conscious of itself will exert maximum effort to prevent our entrance into the door that leads us away from its unfamiliar reign.

I would that we are all individually aware of this - as much as possible - to prevent us from falling into an unacceptable state of complacency.

Because if we do not even try to actively break with the past as nations dreaming together this time, the LORD will hand us over to it.

We will enter into a new age of conflict more terrible than the last.

And we shall descend with the Beast into a new era of desolation lasting perhaps another thousand years.

May kindred Palestine and elder Israel,
each in You, O LORD God,
become a light unto all nations
shining with Thy numberless stars
cast upon Thy one firmament
across the unfeeling darkness
of this midnight of war
as a warmth to each other
and a guide to all mankind.

AMEN.

O ISRAEL, you are the cradle of our peace,
a nation destined to bless the other nations
with a knowledge of life and the Everliving.
The first people chosen by Almighty God
to bring the light of hope to our poor world.

What has become of us my elder brethren?

Thy terrible hurt, due to war's ambition
shall one day turn into strength, if only
we begin today to become that hope again
the hope of our Father Abraham, a promise
to bless the communities of Mankind, peace.

As I love my Annelies Marie, I love you.
But not the War, O people Israel, only you.
Not the hatred, O kindred grace, only you.

Jerusalem, Remembered

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem,
should the City of our LORD's Peace
be a hindrance to it?

If the ageless realms
of the unseen reality had a center,
it would be in thee, O Jerusalem.

O City beholden of old,
hearken to thy own virtue!

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem,
arise in God, arise in God,
why should War ever be found
laying its filthy hand on thee?

O my dear people - come,
and know this, here and now -
the rightful ownership of this city
may sometimes elude us, in exile time,
but this is only because of intentions,
born of a will and a purpose divine,
higher and more kinder than our own,
as a mystery shrouded in hope
being embraced by the substance of things
outside the scope of our understanding:

The protection of the peace
and the primary defense of this city,
where there is any question,
belong to the common good will
of both the nation of elder Israel
and the emerging Palestinian nation:
Jews, Christians and Muslims together.

Because my beloved people,
it is here in our Jerusalem
where these - two nations of old,
brought together by a promise not forgot,
shall learn the ways of God's Peace
and shall put behind them
the darkness of the midnight past
forever.

So pray, my dear people,
arise in God, arise in God - and -
always keep true to each other's good
all ye numberless Stars of old!

And ponder this in thy hearts -
wrestling with a new sense of hope
born of things rekindled
deep in the faith of thy soul
ceaselessly asking the LORD to bless us
until all of the generations of life
in each our kindred nations
have become blessed by God
with a sustainable, meaningful
and lasting peace.

My fellow Filipino compatriots, the Israeli-Palestinian/Palestinian-Israeli conflict is like two brothers fighting inside a burning house. Both of them are fighting for the inheritance of the house. Neither of them remember that their real inheritance is each other.

The roots of War is ancient. Therefore, War was never a choice that can be made freely by any nation as itself. The real choice all our nations must always make - in every generation, and in every present time - is peace.

So let this be our choice - let our freedom be always guided by it.

For amidst the mounting troubles of this world, we must never forget that
we all have a stake in the Middle East Peace.

Mabuhay po tayong lahat. God bless us all.
